The Ministry of Labour & Social Affairs is one of the Federal Ministries of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of
Ethiopia.
Headed by a Minister and two State Ministers, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs has four executive departments and one team that are committed to achieve the objectives of the Ministry. These are Department of Industrial Relations, Department of Occupational Safety and Health, Department of Manpower and Statistics, Department of Rehabilitation Affairs and the Team of Family Welfare Affairs. It has also one office, four departments and three services that render support services. These are the Civil Service Reform Office, Department of Planning and Programming, Department of Manpower & Resource Management, Department of Audit, Department of Finance, International and Public Relations Service, Computer and Documentation Service, and Legal Service.
The above stated work units accomplish their tasks in coordination with all concerned that contribute to the overall achievements of the Ministry in the areas of labour market, disability, old ages, family affairs and others.
