Labour Department
Under this department, the Bureau
- Prepare draft laws concerning labour relations and upon approval, supervise their enforcement.
- Determine standards and measures for the safety and health of workers and follow up their implementation.
- Issue directive concerning the registration of employees and workers union established at region level.
- Facilitate, arbitrate and assist the efficient settlement of collective bargaining and labour disputes following the prescribed legal procedures.
Social Departments
Under this department, the Bureau in cooperation with the appropriate organs;
- Studies and gives assistance for the implementation of ways and means for the proper up-bringing of children and youth,
- Studies and ensures the implementation and means for providing assistance to the aged and the disabled.
- Undertake study on the prevention of social problems and give assistance in eliminating of the same.
- The service giving sections are care centre for the disabled persons, legal services, administration and finance, public relations, as well as audit service.
